Scaffolscaffol

Sites that take the money, not just the enquiry.

Carts, deposits, availability and confirmation flows — built and tested against the ways real customers actually behave. We've shipped a live booking engine with 29 itineraries and deposit checkout.

What e-commerce & booking development covers

This is the transactional layer of a website: browsing and filtering inventory, holding availability, taking a payment or a deposit, and confirming the order back to both the customer and your operations. It's the part of a site where bugs cost money directly, so it's built and tested to a different standard than marketing pages.

When to hire one
Enquiries arrive as emails your team re-keys into another system
You take deposits, part-payments or holds rather than simple one-off charges
Inventory or availability lives in a system the website can't see
Your checkout loses people and nobody can say exactly where
What you get

The transaction, handled.

Checkout that converts

Short, trusted flows with the friction removed and the reassurance placed where people hesitate.

Deposits & holds

Authorize now, capture on confirmation. The payment model matches how your business actually sells.

Operations connected

Confirmed orders land in the systems your team already works in, instead of an inbox.

Two minutes to sketch the brief. An honest scope, a timeline and a number come back — no discovery call required first.

E-commerce & booking development — FAQ
Do you build on Shopify or custom?

Whichever fits. Shopify is excellent for straightforward product sales; bookings, deposits and availability usually need custom work because the models don't map cleanly.

Can you take a deposit instead of full payment?

Yes — we've built exactly that, authorizing a percentage at booking and capturing once the order is confirmed with the operator.

Do you handle payment provider setup?

We build and test the integration; you own the merchant account and the credentials. We never take custody of your payment keys.

How do you test a checkout properly?

Against the failure cases — declined cards, abandoned sessions, double submissions, refunds — not just the path where everything works.
